‘The Star’ symbolizes hope and renewal: the light at the end of the tunnel. For Lina Corrales, songwriting has been both the tunnel and the light. The Denver-born & based singer/songwriter, who started her career in a high school all-girl rock band, “Over the Castle”, before parting from music for 8 years, has finally emerged on the other side. 

 

Lina’s music seamlessly blends the dreamy transcendence of pop with the crude emotion and sentiment of punk rock: giving voice to a generation coming of age in a culture that pulls you in a million opposing directions. Her debut single, “Button Eyes”, describing struggles with 21st century problems like time-anxiety & social media addiction, was released August of 2024. Her EP is set to release summer 2025.
